 (August 1, 2006, Los Angeles, CA) - MTV announced today that GnarlsBarkley has been nominated for 3 Video Music Awards for 'Crazy': BestGroup Video, Best Direction and Best Editing.
Directed by RobertHales, the video is a psychedelic play on Rorschach Tests, and isconsidered to be one of the most innovate music videos embraced by MTVin years.
The single for 'Crazy' held the #1 spot in the UK for9 consecutive weeks before being deleted by the band, and currently hasa radio audience of over 90 million in the U.S. alone.
Gnarls is set to appear on Late Night with David Letterman on August 14th and will be performing at Lollapalooza on August 5th.
Returningthis week from the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, the band will be doinga slew of North American dates this month including Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, Philly and Atlantic City.
