 BROOKLYN, NY based MC Red Cafe has signed with Akon's Konvict Muzik.Cafe will release his long awaited debut album, "The Shakedown", in March of this year. The LP is expected to feature appearances by Akon, Pharoahe Monch, T-Pain and others.
Red Cafe was previously signed to Mack 10's Hoo-Bangin' label via Capitol Records where he released the single "Bling Bloaw" featuring Fabolous. Prior to that he had a failed stint at Arista Records. He is currently preparing to release a street DVD as a companion to his "Cook It Up & Serve 'Em" mixtape.
