WESTSIDE BUGG SIGNS DEAL WITH NATIVE RECORDS
Special Guests who’ve already checked in at Bugg’s Roach Motel include Jayo Felony, Glocc, Lazy Bone and Dirty Birdy, among others. Deon Holly pka Westside Bugg has signed a recording deal with Yarbough Entertainment/Native Records. His debut album, The Roach Motel, will be released October 2006. The first single, "The Informant," features Jayo Felony, and the rest of the highly anticipated CD includes guest appearances by G-Unit's 40 Glocc, Lazy Bone, Spice 1, Bad Azz, Suga Free, Dirty Birdy and Ras Kass.
''I'm excited about releasing the album," says Westside Bugg, a resident of San Bernardino, California. “I have been around for a long time, putting out mixtapes and allowing my peers to use my studio. Now, it's time for me to get my name out there." Westside Bugg's upcoming album The Roach Motel is a self described metaphor for the ghetto. “I checked in and I'm not getting out. It's nothing negative, it just means that I am going to be in the hood all of my life." And once listeners check in and listen to his material, they won't check out!
