Blackhand Ent. Finally Release The Highly Anticipated Grafh Album "Autografh"

BLACKHAND Entertainment will release its flagship artist, Grafh's long anticipated album on July 24th. Autografh the album is billed as Grafh's story and will feature some of the hottest new upcoming producers in the country. When asked about the project Grafh said, "I restructured this album, it's a little personal, and I wanted to introduce new producers to showcase new hot music, new hot lyrics, and some introspective content".

For an extra marketing punch, Black Hand will have a select number of songs available for free download for a limited time prior the July 24th release date. Black Hand CEO, Chaz Williams stated, "…we are in a new climate in the music business. It's a highly competitive environment, with a new web savvy consumer. They want to know what they're getting for their money. They are no longer being hoodwinked and rushing to the stores simply because they hear the one record playing at radio. We want to make the inevitable downloading of music work in our favor to build an affinity for the artist and his music. Traditionally, major labels have allotments of free goods at retail, we are providing that by making limited downloads available early."

The lead single, "Glo In The Dark" is already buzzing and the early album reviews are getting a thumbs up. Grafh will begin his radio and retail promotional run in the northeast, starting with the New England area and working his way south. Finally, we will see what Grafh really does on the mic.

Raptalk.net Exclusive Q&A Interview Session With Capone From CNN

Raptalk.net have been given the chance to hook up with one half of the legendary C-N-N for another exclusive Rap Talk Q&A session. Capone talks about his career, being solo, the new CNN project and his new solo album & movie in the works. Enjoy!

Dub MD: Capone., What's good?
Everything good on my side, maintaining ya dig.

Dub MD: For those who don't know, could you just give a short review of what you've experienced in your rap career up until now?
Well basically its been a long road with a lot of ups and downs. I'm definitely happy with my career tho, 2 gold albums with Nore and a great solo album, i've definitely seen a lot and been on some great tours. I think the best one was the How High Tour with Red and Meth, also the Vendetta Tour cause it was a bunch of hungry artist on that joint and it was a bunch of things going on. I learnt the game and how to play it to my favor without being a platinum artist.

Dub MD: Coming from the NYC, what do you think of the New York music scene right now?
I think the new york music scene is adapting very well to where music is going without loosing the essence of hip hop.. NY is a mecca and in order for artist to become successful his or her music has to get heard and played by the new york based area fans and dj's, that’s the game!

Dub MD: A lot of people are saying "Hip Hop Is Dead" lately, how do you feel about the current state of hip hop?
Hip Hop will never die, as long as music is being made by great artist, hip hop will always be here. I think people are just not use to change but after a while the change becomes the norm. Nas made a point that was takin many different ways. the east took it one way and the south took it another way.. just think about it, when N.W.A came out, that era was suppose to be the death of hip hop. the west was on the rise. when people think hip hop they automatically think NY.. when people think gangsta rap they think west coast and so on. hip hop is the modern blues for the new generation.. hip hop can teach you how to dress, dance, read, write, etc..its proven! as long as there’s a message in music hip hop cant die.

Dub MD: Being one half of the legendary CNN, how did you and Noreaga hook up back in the day?
We met in jail when we was 14.. use to have to go to church to see each other in the jail cause we was on different sides of the joint.

Dub MD: Heard on the grapevine CNN got a new LP in the works, is that true?
We definitely trying to put it together for the CNN fans out there.. its been a long time!

Dub MD: Do you have a new solo album dropping?, whats its it called & what can your fans expect?
I'm definitely workin on another album.. its yet to be titled but when I get it together yall will be the first to get it. my fans can expect great music and im going a little more gangsta on this one.

Dub MD: Have you been working with any big artists and producers for any of your up coming projects?
Basically everything is in house but I will have some great artists on my album and as far producers go, I love working with new cats.. im actually doin a contest on myspace.com now for a producer and artist to appear on my new album details will be at
www.capone-qb.com.

Dub MD: Whats your label situation like just now?
I just did a deal with smc recordings and we are currently working out the cnn situation.. great bidding war goin on.. independent is the new def jam baby!

Dub MD: Can you tell us a little about Pain, Time & Glory Ent.?
Pain, Time & Glory Entertainment, is my label which consists of all media outlets, artist management and development, production and my team LDR from Reading PA..I'm trying to have my company on an international scale feel me..

Dub MD: Back to the new material when is everything due to be released?
Not sure yet, were looking at the end of summer for CNN and maybe top of year for my solo.. I will be dropping mixtapes in the mean time..

Dub MD: You have a new radio show podcast out right now, can you tell us about that? where can the fans tune in?
That is currently being moved to
www.capone-qb.com. You can contact podcast@eastcoastdigitalradio.com.

Dub MD: For your fans who haven't seen you perform yet are you planning a worldwide tour anytime soon?
Definitely, soon as the deal get done me and Nore hittin the road heavy..

Dub MD: If you could describe yourself as an emcee in 4 words, what would they be?
There’s No One Greater!

Dub MD: What is on tap for Capone for the rest of 2007 and beyond?
Getting this Pain, Time, and Glory movie done along with the albums and hittin the road!

Dub MD: Do you have anything to say to the fans? anything you wanna get off your chest? any shout outs?
I just wanna let the fans know I aint going no where and this is our year. shout out to the whole queens bridge and ptg family and all my comrades on lock! Fans can reach me at

?uestlove Previews Pharrell's "Out Of My Mind" Remix LP

WHILE it's no arguement that Pharrell's In My Mind LP was more or less a commerical flop, Pharrell was not satisfied with it, and went back into the studio to have ?uestlove remix the album as "live" LP, much like he did with a couple years back, with the import and domestic versions of N.E.R.D.'s In Search Of... with Spymob.

While there is no telling when the remixed LP will actually see the late of day, "now dubbed Pharrell and The Yessirs' Out Of My Mind", ?uestlove has let his remix of "Number One" (feat. Kanye West) leak on his myspace page at www.myspace.com/questlove.

Raptalk Interview with Duke of Psycho Realm!!

Our own Texas staff member, Bino 1, caught up with Duke one half of the Hip Hop underground sensation group "Psycho Realm". In this nice short interview the two talk about the group, Duke's thoughts on Hip Hop and upcoming things in the works....

Bino1: Let me start by saying that its a pleasure to introduce to you all Duke from the infamous Psycho Realm, and a legend in the underground hip hop!! Why don't you say what's up to the world!!

Duke: Whats up to all the real SS Soldiers out there!!!

Bino: How did it all start?

Duke: We always had love for music. At first, Jacken and our homeboy Joes were rocking the mic and I was their hype man. Then I developed my style and started rocking the mic with them “The Psycho Realm”.

Bino: So tell us how was the whole thing since you started especially the experience with MECHA at CSUN and was it there, that you started to do shows for the purpose of expressing yourself?

Duke: The Psycho Realm is the outcome of everything that went down in the war zone, that we were living in!! We wanted to let people know how corrupt and abusive the authorities were, especially the Rampart Disctrict and we also wanted to let out our frustrations.

Bino: Much like NWA your music has alot to say and is something never really done by latinos!! Do you consider yourselves pioneers with a purpose?

Duke: We always made our style of music and lyrics way different than anything that was out there and we’re still doing it through sick symphonies. Our main goal is always to make music that stands apart from the masses. This includes the music, lyrics and flows.

Bino: So when you guys put out the first album, was that the platform you needed to expose that part of LA to the masses? How was it being latinos besides Cypress Hill with a diffrent flavor!

Duke: The fact that people in other parts of the world can relate to what we write about and sing about makes them want to be down with us and the city that we represent..

Bino: Today what is your opinion about Hip Hop?

Duke: I’m picky as fuck when it comes to hip hop. I like that there are a gang of underground groups making music and networking their music through sites like myspace. It’s easier to record songs and promote yourself. They should take advantage of that and step their game up. .

Bino: So now what is your role in The Sick Symphonies Camp and who are you currently working with?

Duke: Right now, I’ve been working on concepts for albums that we’re going to be working on in the near future. I’ve also been working mostly on producing beats and producing complete songs for up and coming groups.

Bino: When can we expect to hear a track produced by you? And will there be a cameo appearance by Duke in the future?

Duke: You might hear some of my production on Sick Jacken’s Spanish Album. Definitely on the next PR album. I’ll leave the vocal part a mystery.

Bino: When are we expecting that to be put out? And is there any majors envolved?

Duke: It should be out in 2008. We haven’t figured out how we’re putting it out yet. One thing I can tell you is that the concept is “way out, never been done” type shit.

Bino: Who is working with you guys?

Duke: On the PR albums we don’t allow anybody but the immediate family, Crow and Cynic of Street Platoon.

Bino: So before we end this I would like to say that it was a pleasure to have been put in this position and I feel blessed to have on the other side of the spectrum! Is there anything or any shut outs you'd like to send out?

Duke: I want to say what up to all of our SS Soldiers and fans around the world. You Psychos keep me strong and focused on the music. Big shout to my girls at home for always holding my shit down and having my back. Go get the terror tapes and the DJ F.M. street mixes CD’s. They’re dope as fuck and check out the websites Pscyhorealmonline.com, myspace.com/psychorealm and sicksidestore.com. Stay down and thanks for the opportunity Bino!

Bino: Cool so with that we will end this and stay up and focused!!! Bino1 Raptalk.net Peace

Spider Loc Lives In A Blutiful World (Re-Posted Interview Due To "Features" Being Down)

Due to our Features section being temporarily down, we are reposting the Spider Loc Interview here that was posted on 4/08/07....

Styles: We are here with Spider Loc in the studio…

Spider: The Blue Room man. Let em know what it do, the True Room. Where S-P-I dwells….

Styles: Alright… We are just going to get in to it real quick but before I do so, I have to ask you man, what in the hell happened on Brazil St? When you were shooting the video for Blutiful World. What was that whole situation?

Spider: The day before the footage that you all seen on the Internet, I had been driving down Wilmington and I had seen a little bit of a crowd right there on Brazil St. So I busted a U Turn real quick and hollerd at G-Ride. He was telling me that they were shooting a Guerilla Black video so he invited me to get a shot in the video, so I told him that I would be right back. I left and came right back and did a little cameo in the little Guerrila Black video real quick. At the same time I was telling him that tomorrow I was shooting some shots for my video Blutiful World. I have an artist that is actually a red rag and a lot of associates that are red rag so I intended to actually put some red in the video like you see at end of the video (Spider earlier played us the Blutiful World video). I was letting him know that was my intentions to shoot the video tomorrow and so G-Ride invited me to do the video right here (on Brazil St.). So I just thought about a few familiar faces to the hip hop scene that stay on the red rag side over there so I said “fuck it” we can go ahead and do it right here (on Brazil St.) then.

So I came and pulled up. We stayed there for about 3 hours very comfortably. We did everything that we had to do. As we left, I was being communicated on the phone by people who were still there, I was being made aware of the events that were taking place that you see on the video. None of it actually took place while I was there. If you look close you will the red truck that’s bangin’ out is mine. You see how the incidents took place once that truck was out of the frame. So as I was going down Compton Blvd. People were chirping me giving me the play by play. So I can only tell you from there what you saw (on the video). You know what I’m saying? That’s all I know.

Styles: No one said anything to you while you were there?

Spider: Naw, not one word. Nobody said nothing to the Loc. On my dead homies and my daughters didn’t nobody say one word of any type of negativity towards the Loc.

Styles: So people waited for you to leave?

Spider: The tape pretty much speaks for itself. Nobody said nothing to me. You see all of the after interviews and all that there was never anything said towards me. All of the individuals that took place in the video, that participated, that have done explanatory interviews on the Internet, none of them have said anything towards me.

Styles: Was that whole thing because of The Game vs. his brother? Or The Game versus you?

Spider: For me to try to decipher all of the politics that are involved right there would be beyond me because I am not from over there. I don’t know either of the individuals involved all that well they are all distant acquaintances. None of them are my everyday partners or niggas that I really really holla at. So you know what I’m saying? That’s Piru business. I’mma let the Piru’s sort all of that out.

Styles: Ok. I think the speculation was that The Game didn’t like you over there (on Brazi) and that was all of the Internet talk (by fans). What’s up with you and Game? Are you guys still going at each other?

Spider: All that you know about me and Game was done by music, so see the music and see where it’s at, you know what I’m saying? I did that as far as the mixtapes, I am a G Unit Crip regardless, anybody that’s got a problem with that has got a problem with me and my niggas. Outside of that, it’s “fuck everybody”.

Styles: He (The Game) had made that song about you and at the end he had somebody speak on you, G Magic, making allegations and saying stuff about you. Have you ever responded to any of that?

Spider: I don’t even understand how to respond to a nigga on the back of a song that can barely open his mouth and say what he’s trying to say. He didn’t say really anything that bothered me. My truck ain’t came off no Firestone. I’m from 97 street like he says, between McKinley and Stanford, on the Eastside neighborhood Crip, it ain’t no secret. I put the G Unit on that you smell me? I don’t give a fuck how a nigga feel.

Styles: Did you even know the individual?

Spider: Yeah, I met him before, on some gangbangin shit, and you know it nigga. Joey…. Joey know me.

Styles: But it wasn’t like you guys were personal buddies?

Spider: Hell naw… that nigga is a mark. He’s a mark for even involving himself in my life in the manner that he did. He don’t even deserve to be involved in my total picture. Eastside Crip keeps it Eastside Crippin. I don’t know nobody on the Eastside that respect that corny shit he did. I am a Loc. When I am spoken upon it should be done with enormous amounts of respect.

Styles: So you are with the G Unit camp. Tell us what life is like rollin’ with Rap’s #1 crew?

Spider: It’s just a steady stream of trying to keep the checks organized. Make sure that everybody that’s supposed to get a piece, get theirs. Opening new accounts and starting other business ventures. Getting involved in real estate. It’s getting money, man, basically if you have to sum it up. You can kind of see from the outside looking in as far as the way that the career is progressing or not progressing but in the meantime it’s a bunch of “getting money” man.

Styles: You say “not progressing”… What do you mean by that?

Spider: I mean as far as I feel there is a deep anticipation to hear what S-P-I has to say, as far as a full length LP. I love the way that anticipation is building. So for those on the outside looking in, it may appear to be “not progressing”, that’s what I mean.

Styles: When you go to the Rap forums and you see what the people are saying, that’s usually what they are saying. “When is an album coming?” or “50 is never going to put your album out” or that he (50 Cent) has him (Spider) just for muscle…

Spider: I ain’t got that much muscle, I am just one man. You feel me? I can’t really protect nobody from nothing. I am not here to protect nobody from nothing. I was actually blessed with a eloquent gift of poetry and was foolish enough to make a lot of these mistakes that make the South Central streets to be a dangerous place to live. Since this happens to be the time where street music is at the forefront and my CD is looked up on the Mecca as that whole type of attitude, and like the same time I happen to say that I have been foolish enough in my life, that makes me one of the people that’s perfect for the job, when you combine that with the eloquent gift of poetry that I do possess. The musical ear that I have it just makes me perfect for the job. Had another type of music had been the most popular at this point, I wouldn’t be as applicable. But there is none other from my side of town that is able to fill the shoes that I can fill from standing in this. All that you have seen before is to prepare you what you have yet to see.

Styles: So what are you working on right now, as far as a project is concerned?

Spider: I am working on…. Actually…I have a record label that I am establishing or I should say have established. My immediate immediate attention is to sort through this distribution deal that I have on the table. My label is BAYMAC Music, Be About Your Money At all Costs, our first and foremost desire is to have it a direct branch of G Unit music. That’s being negotiated as well, but there are also other situations that are on the table that we are looking through. That label consists of my artists: Piper, Snoopy Blue, Papa Smirf, Columbo Black and Big Foot. I’ve got two groups somewhat compiled of those artists, one of them with an outside member, my nigga Kartoon from Ruff Ryder West. They are “The Businessmen”, Kartoon from The Ruff Ryders, Papa Smirf and Piper make up “The Businessmen”. Big Foot, Snoopy Blue and Taboo formerly of The Young Hoggs make up The Clutches. I will show you some of the artwork that we have for some of that.

Styles: Ok, ok… but what about you personally?

Spider: Well, it’s still the West Kept Secret/The World Wide Web. Still cooking the album, but I just can’t help but still make records. Right now I am pushing my single “Blutiful World” featuring my artist Snoopy Blue. On the remix I’m featuring my artists Piper and Papa Smirf. I am shopping the movie “Paroled”. I stay recording, just in the “Blue Room” cooking it up constantly.

Styles: When do you think that we might see an album by Spider Loc, or can you even answer that?

Spider: As soon as possible. I don’t make those decisions. I am far away from being the person that makes those decisions. It’s going to be soon though, just keep your ears open. I am going to get deep up in them, that’s on the set.

Styles: Your crew is kind of a controversial one, The G-Unit camp. Just to squash any rumors, do you guys have to all ride for each other’s beefs? Do they say, “Hey, we don’t get along with these people so go ride on them” or is that all just you guys personally making that decision?

Spider: I’ve never been told that I had to do anything. I’ve never seen anybody be told that they had to do anything. Me as a person, I push loyalty over love. I am loyal to he who is loyal to me and who is out here for my benefit. I don’t give a fuck about nobody who don’t give a fuck about that person. Now they use the word “beef” so loosely that it’s gotten so corny and commercial. Everybody that wants to throw a hissy fit and be a bitch and be mad at you doesn’t mean it’s a beef. A beef is something that can lead up to a possible or almost inevitable act of violence. Niggas that be on the microphone battling, that’s what it is. Sometimes you see the whole entertainment picture has gotten more and more and more towards the avenues of reality. First niggas would bag on each other when they would rap, talk about their mama’s or their shirts and their ties. But Music has gotten so violent overall that when you go at somebody’s throat, you go at their throat! I guess it’s kind of believable. It makes me kind of proud that I am that believable when the whole audience out there is really taking a whole bunch of violence on my account. In all actuality it’s just a progression of what’s been going on in rap, of MC’s going against one another. I happen to be from a violent background. I tend to make a large amount of violent music and when you oppose me against another artist for whatever purpose it’s going to be a violent affair. You know, when I get in to the studio and make music, that’s what I do as a profession. Excuse me for being so believable everyone.

Styles: Has their ever been a moment where this rap shit was about to turn serious for you? Or has it all just been on wax?

Spider: Man, like I said, I’ve never been involved in any type of act of violence based on this rap or what they call “beefs”. It’s all music man.

Styles: That’s cool for clearing that up. iSo why don’t you tell us about this movie that you’ve been working on?

Spider: It’s entitled “Paroled”. It’s Directed by Sam Martino and written by Sam Marino as well. I became attached to the film as a producer by basically facilitating most of the situations that were on the table, as far as distribution. I was selected to perform in the film by the director and the writer. It’s a story about a guy named CJ who grew up a troubled young man and got himself in trouble as a young man, as a teenager, with an involuntary manslaughter where he killed a little girl. He did like 3 years for that. After that he lives a life of crime back and forth out of Prison. 15 years later on parole for some doing some other unrelated shit, after 5 years, he ends up in the home of the parents of the little girl that he killed a long time ago. He has no idea that these are her parents. I am just going to tell you that much. I don’t want to tell you too much after that. It’s starring Spider Loc myself as CJ, Master P, Ernest Thomas, and Candy Brown Houston. It’s pretty much the opposite of what you would expect for a debut rap artist to do on a theatrical type of release. I am really proud of the work.

Styles: What was it like acting since this was your first?

Spider: I loved it. I had a natural comfort. I’d love to do more, actually I just shot an episode for the series “Numbers” on CBS. It’s just one line but … I did a line on a Cold Case episdoe but it died on the editing floor. I got paid though. The Numbers episode in April somewhere between the 27th and the 29th.

Styles: I was watching this video, the “Blutiful World” video that you just had on here. Man, you guys went all out on this one. I see a lot of video shoots and a lot of them are really really really low budget but you guys had all of the “aerial shots” and everything.

Spider: I have a production company. I actually shot the video myself alongside of my partner, Mr. Crash Miller. We directed it. We wrote the treatment. We produced it. We basically just reached out to all of our resources with the money that we had with no assistance from anyone. No major companies, no anyone, just he and I. You have what you have. This is something that we are willing to do for anybody that it needs to be done for. We’ve got it for the low. So holla…Holla at Crash at Indastreets.net… Hit him up. Also at Spiderloc.com and you’ve got him on the myspace, hit him wherever, holla at ya boy. When you see how crispy the video is and the quality of it, you are going to know that you need to holla.

Styles: Damn, so you are now in the production business too..

Spider: We’ve been in the production business ever since we compiled the “Brainless DVD”. It sold around for a couple of years now. We did that as a partnership and we’ve continued on as a partnership ever since.

Styles: Any more mixtapes coming up from you?

Spider: Yeah, we are going to do Connected Volume 2, coming out real soon. Then we’ve got “S-P-I, Arachnophobia: Don’t Be Scared” dropping around the same time. I am going to keep dropping the mixtapes. I see that it might be something needed to keep the fans pacified for the meantime. The rhymes go so long so there is no need not to. I’ve got access to excellent production world wide, so I just keep feeding it to them. Mixtapes are played out. We are going to call them “Street Albums”. That’s the Polically Incorrect term to use and I am trying to be Politically Incorrect, so we are doing Street Albums.

Styles: Is there anything that you want to get off of your chest as we end this interview?

Spider: All haters suck a dick. G Unit Crip for death though. BAYMAC, Be About Your Money At all Costs. If you don’t’ like it, I gives a fuck….

DMX Misses Court Today; Judge Issues Arrest Warrant

DMX missed another scheduled court date in White Plains City Court yesterday (Apr. 10).

The rapper, born Earl Simmons, failed to appear at a pretrial conference related to various driving violations related to a June 2 incident in which the rapper was stopped for driving his SUV at high speeds.

DMX was also ticketed for making an unsafe lane change and was not wearing a seat belt when he was pulled over.

Yesterday Judge Brian Hansbury gave the rapper a one-day reprieve but ordered DMX to appear in court today (Apr. 11) or a warrant would be issued for his arrest. DMX missed court yet again today and an arrest warrant has been issued. DMX is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle for driving with a suspended license. He was also issued tickets for the unsafe lane change violations. Simmons failed to appear in court last summer to answer the charges and an arrest warrant was issued for the rapper.

He was jailed on June. 28 and released on $2,500 bond on June. 30.

Legendary L.A. DJ Crew "Uncle Jamm's Army" Reunites For Show May 18th! Ft. Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, King Tee & Toddy Tee!

The original Kings of the West Coast, Uncle Jamm's Army, are reuniting!

Back in the early 80's before there was a world wide West Coast Hip Hop scene, Uncle Jamm's Army ruled the land!

Without any radio help, they would pack The L.A. Sports Arena with over 10,000 people per show without the aid of any "special" performances!

The group also spawned many West Coast legends like The Egyptian Lover, DJ Bobcat, DJ Aladdin, DJ Pooh, DJ Battlecat and more!

For one night on May 18th, at The Grove in Anaheim, CA the crew is reuniting for a special show featuring Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, King Tee and Toddy Tee (remember The Batter Ram?)  and it will be a night you will NOT forget!

Raptalk caught up with Rodger "Uncle Jamm" Clayton, the founder of the crew and he's promised us a good interview in the upcoming days!

Mark your calendars today!

"I Got My Chain Back!!" Article by the legendary Dj Bobcat

In 1990 while me an LL was doing a big Concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, somebody I knew broke into my house and stole the Legendary Phatt Gold Rope I use to wear on stage! The big Gold Chain that I wore on Saturday Night Live, Soul Train Awards, American Music Awards, MTV, The Grammy's and all around the world, it was gone forever!!! Can you believe I went all around the entire world to every single ghetto in the United States twice and didn't loose my chain or get jacked and came home to get robbed by somebody I knew! Wow!! That's the kind of friends you need to have.

Anyway check this out! Over 9000 miles away a DJ named Daddy K from the #1 Radio Station (Contact R&B) in Belgium hit me up on Myspace and said, he started DJaying because of me and been watching me every since I started way back in da dayz with LL Cool J! He said, he wanted to fly me out to Belgium to DJ and help him celebrate his big 20 year anniversary party!

When we got to Belgium Daddy K treated us like Family and paid for everything including our personal gifts. He introduced us to his entire Belgium Crew and they all treated us like Royalty! Right before going to Daddy K's Radio Station (Contact R&B) the #1 Radio Station in Belgium reaching the entire country, he invited us to his house that should be on MTV Cribs!

After touring Daddy K's house he told me he had a gift for me and would I please accept? I was a little confused because people here in the United States don't really give gifts and I'm not use to anybody doing anything for me! Anyway Da Wifey (Chanel) told me it would be rude if I didn't, so I did and I'm glad I did!

Daddy K and his wife Rachel walked into the room carrying a black and white box and they handed it to me, at first I thought this is some kind of joke, but when I opened the box up, there it was!!!! My Phatt Gold Chain!!!! As soon as I saw it, all of my memories started coming to me right away, every tour, every radio interview, every hand shake, every autograph, every scratch, every plane flight, every sound check, every applaud!!! It quickly reminded me of every conversation and laugh I had with Eric B and Rakim, Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Griff and Terminator X, Jalil, Xstacy, Cliff Love and Grandmaster D, Jam Master Jay, Run and Dmc, LL, Cut Creator, E love, Tony Rome, Russell Simmons, Lior Cohen, Heidi Smith, Big Dad, Muffla, DJ Pooh, Threat, Breeze, King T, Ice T, Battlecat, Eazy E, MC Ren, Dr. Dre, Yella, Egyptian Lover, Roger Clayton, Gid Martin, Edwin Vaults, Big Daddy, Pam Warmack, Clay D, Alvin Parks, Toddy T, Mix Master Spade, DJ Quik, 2 Pac, KRS 1, D Nice, EPMD, DJ Scratch, Slick Rick, Dougie Fresh, Spindarella and Salt N Peppa, Will Smitth, Jazzy Jeff, Red Alert, Chuck Chill Out, Marley Marl, MC Shan, Stetsasonic, Prince Paul, Def Jef, Warren G, Mr. Grimm, Nate Dogg, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Daz, Ice Cube, Sir Jynx, Xzibit, The Liks, Raz Kaz, K Borne, Alim, King Diz, Mack 10, WC, Crazy Toonz, Coolio, Kam, Tony G, Julio G, Nasty Nes, Greg Mack, Fab Five Freddy, Kool Moe D, Queen Latifah, Monie Love, Jazzy Joyce, Fat Joe, Steve Rifkin, Clive Davis, Eddie Murphy, Charlie Murphy, Vernon Lynch, Dana Dane, Dave Dizzle, Grandmaster Flash, Grandmixer DST, Africa Islam, Jazzy Joyce, Bigg Daddy Kane, Mr. C, DJ Co Co Chanel, Clark Kent, Angie Martinez, Big Boy, Ed Lover and Dr. Dre, Kurtis Blow, UTFO, The Real Roxanne, Roxanne Shante, Kwame, Milk, QD III, MC, Lyte, MC Search, MC Hammer, LA Dream Team, JJ Fad, Wrecking Cru, Luke, Tump, Method Man, Red Man, DJ Aladdin, Joe Coolie, M Walk, Ralph M, Wild Cat, Dr. Scratch Cat, Mark Luv, Michael Moore, Howie T, D Mack, Douggie D, Michael Jackson, Beastie Boyz, Common, ODB, New Edition, DJ Clash, Terror Squad, Madonna, Jay Z, Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat, Bow Wow, Yo Yo, D Barnes, Candyman, Sir Mix A Lot and everyone else I met through Hip Hop!

That very moment I realized what the Gold Chain meant and what it symbolizes, it represents our journey and our struggle! It's just as important to our culture as the turntables and the MIC! It's not just jewelry, it is where we come from!!! Me, Jam Master Jay, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Eric B, Slick Rick all wore the Big Phatt Dookie Rope and it represents US!!! All of us down wit' HIP HOP!!!!!

Thank You Daddy K, YOU gave me back my memories and also YOU gave me back to HIP HOP Culture!
