Maino Hustle's Hard

Universal recording Artist, Jermaine “Maino” Coleman possesses an innate lyrical talent that shatters the assumption that a child growing up in playgrounds of destruction is doomed to a life of failure. Brooklyn revealed the harsh reality of urban poverty to Maino with struggle, crime, heartache, and ultimately incarceration. However, the perils of urban life would not prevent today’s recognition of his talent on Hot 97.1 FM, ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ of WBLS, WKRS and national record releases, and both XM and Sirius radio. The attractiveness of a few elements of a criminal lifestyle would convince Maino to partake in both fame and consequence. It would also give him enough insight to awaken his ability to pleasantly manipulate language. In his youth, his musical gift slept beneath invitations to the criminal world. At age 14, the father of Jermain “Maino” Coleman fell to the invisible hands of drugs and poverty. Thereafter, his confusion and anger at the loss of his father, accepted these invitations. Not yet known for his musical talent, his request to possess the attractiveness of the criminal lifestyle was granted. Unfortunately, his fame was accompanied by its harsh consequence of 10 years in prison. This marked the beginning of Maino’s coming of age. His many revelations ended the gestation period of his vocal ability. First used for internal healing, Maino soon began to recognize his gift as the blueprint for deciding his own future. Subsequently, the birth of his son caused Maino to recognize the responsibility of adulthood. He came to understand that the way one lives their present will determine their future. Still now, his actions scream a commitment to excellence.Today, Maino cannot forget that there are youth for whom crime is not a simple choice, but necessary in order to maintain life. Seeing his son and foreseeing success tomorrow, Maino has exposed his ability on over 700 Mix tapes with the assistance of DJ clue, Cut Master C, DJ Kay Slay, DJ Envy and other accomplished DJ’s. His legitimacy as a hip-hop artist had been established as he has made many musical accomplishments, including numerous appearances in DVD magazines such as Smack DVD, Print magazines such as the Source, and on Radio stations such as Hot 97.1. Although once dismayed at his inability to depart from his community, his fervent insight and lyrical genius now reaches beyond Brooklyn, beyond New York City, and beyond New York State. Consequently, records with nationally known artists such as Joe Buddens, Loon, and Cormega are bestowing his lyrical treasures on listeners throughout the nation.Maino has no secrets. Consciously drawing on his past experiences, Maino provides his listeners with music that they enjoy while feeding them sincerity and the option to make there own decisions about the path they take. His lyrics are not of only one hip-hop genre. His uniqueness and magnetism is evident in all rap categories between conscious and commercial rap. Blessed with the power to connect with his listeners, he tells tales of his life in ways that evokes the need to dance on lasting thoughts. His assemblage of incidents incited a journey towards success. Maino has transformed feelings of hopelessness into urban wisdom. Emerging from a pandemic of people with eyes wide shut, Maino opens his eyes to the world. Here are few tracks:
